Description
Your role as a Customer Service Representative/Teller is key and crucial to the bank as a frontline employee. Customers visit you most, and want to be treated with courteous and respect by acknowledgement and accuracy of the transaction you complete for
them. It is essential that you give the customer in front of you their undivided attention while processing their transaction to ensure accuracy.


As a CSR, there are opportunities to be able to cross-sell products and other services to the customers. Your professionalism and knowledge helps to build that rapport with the customer, which will result in referrals back to the bank. Job duties are assigned
as followed, but not limited in scope. You should be able to help out where ever needed, by doing more than what is required and helping each other out as a team.


Customer Service Representative:


Roles/Responsibilities:


o Process customer transactions: deposits, cash checks, sell cashier's checks

o Process loan payments and overdraft payments

o Issues cashier's checks,

o Close customers accounts

o Transfer funds per request of customers

o Answer bookkeeping calls.

o Redeem Series EE Bonds

o Order or re-order checks for customers

o Backup on vault

o Train to open new accounts

o Process transactions through 4-Sight, image server

o Cross sell other types of products and services to customers

o Offer "free checking" promotion through High Performance Checking (HPC)

o Work with branch management in promoting "big days" by creating theme based on the current free gift.

o Learn and understand bank products and services by conducting staff meetings or training.

o Work night drop, courier bags in dual.

o Provide extraordinary customer service; always greeting customers when they enter the branch by acknowledging with a smile or gesture to let them know you acknowledge them.

o Saturday banking rotation.

o Other duties as assigned.
